4stro is an Emo Rap/Scenecore artist originally from Poughkeepsie, NY. Inspired by bands like Angels & Airwaves, I Set My Friends On Fire, and Pierce The Veil as well as Soundcloud greats like Lil Peep, Lil Uzi Vert, and 6dogs, 4stro has been developing their unique sound from a young age. Originally recording freestyles on boom-bap and trap beats, 4stro flipped the script entirely in early 2020 with their breakout single "Wavy Baby" and defied expectations once again with the 2021 release of m0nst3r!!! , which has gone on to be their highest streamed single to date.
Since then, 4stro has really found their niche, releasing 8 projects; most recent of which being the 18 song album bløød møøn , a complete ascension of 4stro's sound and introduction of a new saga of musical storytelling from the artist (and many cameos from their friends in the NYC music scene). As stated elsewhere, their often melancholy lyrics describe the struggles of a lost soul caught in all the trauma, heartache and vices of growing up with paranoia and anxiety, as seen in projects like Paranoid and CREATURE FEATURE. However, there is a dichotomy of sound, as projects like DATAMØSH!NG and Supernova Sunrise provide a look into the other hemisphere of 4stro's mind where all the digital psychedelia and wonderment is contained.
Beyond the breakup songs and digi-core however lies a passionate artist that has been building quite the name for themselves outside of just the screens, collaborating with artists all over the country and sharing the stage with huge names like Lil Tracy, Destroy Lonely, Sewerperson, and even joining AP YCM on his "How Could You Forget Me" tour. It's this combination of passion, hustle, and positivity that keeps the eyes and cameras pointed in 4stro's direction, but the fame and notoriety is of no concern: "I just want to create a family, a safe space for people to enjoy music and let their sunshine out without being judged or ostracized for it". For them, it's about overcoming the traumatic barriers that society uses to keep people sad and separated, and creating a space where all that matters is music, light, love and respect.
