St. John's Preschool Learning Center
St. John’s Preschool Learning Center has existed since 1976.
Our Preschool offers 2 classes, with an emphasis on sharing, listening, social development, color, number and alphabet readiness. Also included in the program are stories, creative art projects, music, making homemade books, physical activities and several field trips. Our Preschool will give your child a happy and relaxed first experience with school in a Christian atmosphere. It will also give your child a head start in kindergarten. Your child should be between the ages of 3 and 5. (Should be 3 by September 1, 2014 and toilet trained.)
Our Preschool provides individual attention with a certified teacher, Loretta McClarigan. Loretta was previously a first grade teacher in the Lampeter-Strasburg School District, she brings 28 years of teaching experience to our Preschool. This is her 20th year at St John’s. She was the Director of the Paradise Park Summer Rec Program for 10 years, was an Elder at Leacock Presbyterian Church, and is an active member of the bell choir. Assisting Loretta is teacher aide Jane Horst, who has been with St. John’s Preschool for 7 years.
Register your child by completing the registration form and returning it to St. John’s Preschool, Box 86, Paradise PA 17562, along with a check for the non-refundable registration fee of $45.00. The yearly tuition is broken down into 9 equal monthly payments.
CLASSES:
(1) Kindergarten Readiness Program, 4 & 5 Year Olds
- A 3-day program, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 – 11:30 am
- Tuition: $96.00 per month
(2) For 3 Year Olds
- A 2-day program, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9 – 11:30 am
- Tuition: $69.00 per month
