Welcome to the tournament website of 4 Horseman Pauper by Timmy Talks. Fifty wizards compete in this tournament to crown themselves Pauper Champion! Each wizard has been challenged to build a 60 card deck consisting only out of commons and with cards only from the 4 horseman sets.

The Basics:

• Legal Card/Sets: Commons from Arabain Nights, Antiquities, Legends,The Dark and all basic lands.

• Re-prints from these sets with same art and same frame are accepted. World Championship gold bordered cards are also allowed.

• 60 card main deck minimum with a 15 card sideboard.

Having suffered great casualties at the hands of the brothers’ war machines, the remaining pixies and tree folk of Argoth found themselves in a desperate state. Alone they were too vulnerable so they set out to make alliances with neighboring creatures who also wanted revenge. Along with the apes, the moss monsters, the fiery destructive power of a red mage, and countless others, the Argothians set out to reclaim their ancestral home and vanquish the invaders. So admirable was their cause that even the legendary creatures of their realm came to fight by their side.

Goblin mayhem! I chose this deck because I love the flavor and the speed it offers. I also love the look of all the cards from THE DARK when they're out on the board at the same time. Additionally, I thought the sideboard options for red and green were strong for this tournament.

My greatest flavor moment came in a match when I had both Goblin Caves and Goblin Shrine on the battlefield, along with a Goblin Hero, a Goblin Digging Team, a Goblins of the Flarg, and a Scarwood Goblin. All my goblin dreams came true!

First, look up the recipe in your tome. Bring 4 rukh eggs to the boil in the blood of a goat. Don’t forget a few bones to make your broth. Then ask your soldier to chop up 4 bats and add it to the mix. Add some fire and lightning, volcano herbs, a few yeti’s hairs and a transmutated faerie and let it simmer for at least one-and-an-half-hour (or the time of a three-legged 4HP match).
