CO-CHAIRS

DARRELL BERGSMA

Darrell was a 4-H member for 10 years completing a variety of clubs. He currently leads the Swine club in Huron County. Darrell has been a facilitator for Provincial Leadership Camp and Future Leaders in Action for over 13 years. He is a volunteer on the Huron county 4-H leaders Association Board of Directors, the Seaforth Agricultural Society and is vice president on the Ontario 4-H Council Board of Directors. He is married to his wonderful wife Amanda since 2013, has a 13 year old daughter, Cheyenne. In his spare time can be found playing baseball and spending time with family and friends.

ERICA MURRAY

Erica lives with her husband just outside of Seaforth. Erica first became involved with 4- H as a member, attending several 4-H opportunities and serving as a 4-H Ontario Ambassador. I continue to be involved both in 4-H Council and as a volunteer in my local association.

LESLEY CHAPMAN

Lesley Chapman is from Perth County, where she leads lifeskills and the Cloverbud club. When Leslie started 4-H as a member, she was shy and kept to herself. 4-H has given her the confidence and self esteem to open up and meet new people. Leslie stayed on as a leader to give the youth in her community an opportunity to become part of this amazing program and to inspire them to find amazing things about themselves.

ALEC MARTIN

Alec has been married to his wife Sharon since 1985. They have 3 adult sons, all of whom were avid 4-H members and volunteers. Alec lives in Bruce County where he continues to be involved with 4-H serving as the county president and association representative and leader. Alec has led veterinary, curling, dairy, line-dancing and square dancing clubs. Outside of 4-H Alec enjoys home renovation and vintage car repair.

SHARON MARTIN

Sharon has been married to her husband Alec since 1985. They have 3 adult sons, all of whom were avid 4-H members and volunteers. Sharon’s involvement in 4-H began as a parent over 20 years ago and then as a volunteer in Bruce County where she continues to be involved with 4-H serving as the County Secretary-Treasurer as well as Membership and Screening Coordinator and as a Leader. Sharon has led curling, dairy, line-dancing and square dancing clubs. Outside of 4-H Sharon is actively involved in her faith community and is a member of her local Agricultural Society and enjoys reading, word/number games and gardening without a green thumb!

GRACE OESCH

Grace Oesch Is a 4-H volunteer for 45+ years and is currently the Treasurer & Membership Coordinator with Perth County 4-H Association.

BRIAN O’NEILL

Brian O’Neill from Grey County, been leading for 30 years including mainly Wiarton Dairy, Sheep, Mechanics. Brian is the Association Representative for Grey County currently, president previously. Previously sat on 4-H Ontario board of directors.

Brian has worked Quality Holsteins/Seeds for 34 years and is married to Shelley, 2 sons Adam and Shea, 7 grandsons, the oldest two are now the 5th generation 4-Hers. Enjoy showing cattle, working with our 4-H members and being a Bompa.

CAROLYN VAN DER HEIDEN

Together with her husband, Joost, Carolyn farms a cow-calf to finish operation, raise rabbits and do a wide variety of custom farm work. Carolyn has 3 wonderful children who have all participated over the years in 4-H. Carolyn has been a 4-H leader in Perth County for 10 years leading a variety of clubs from livestock to lifeskills. I enjoy being active in our community and giving back while trying to live the 4-H motto, "Learn to do by doing".

REG VINNICOMBE

Reg has been a volunteer in Huron County for 11 years acting as a leader with the Grey Township Life Skills Club and serving on the board of the local association for 10 of those years.

EVELYN CHAMBERS

Evelyn Chambers is the Sr. Manager, Volunteer and Community Engagement. Evelyn lives in Lindsay, Ontario and in addition to working with 4-H Ontario is also a 4-H volunteer with the Kawartha Lakes Haliburton 4-H Association.

KATHRYN LAMBERT

Kathryn Lambert is the Coordinator of Events, with 4-H Ontario and has been in this position for about fifteen months. Previously Kathryn has been apart of the Volunteer Support team at 4-H Ontario covering regions 3, 5 & 6. Kathryn enjoys being involved in her community and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Kathryn was a 4-H member in Middlesex County and currently still involved as a volunteer and a 4-H parent.

STEPHANIE RICHARDSON

Stephanie Richardson is the Coordinator of Volunteer Support for Regions 5 & 6 with 4-H Ontario. She is a 4-H alumni and fellow volunteer in Chatham-Kent, leading the Blenheim Field Crop and Kent Centre Lifeskills clubs. Stephanie is looking forward to learning together throughout the 2021 4-H Ontario Volunteer Conference!
