Project goals

GO1. Familiarization with the meaning, causes and consequences of climate change, identifying human actions in waste management and plastic pollution of water in participating region and send visible and measurable green messages using art, scientific and cleaning challenges (depending on the variety of partners),

GO2. Developing interest in European languages and cultural diversity (depending on the variety of partners),

GO3. Developing key competencies ((multi)lingual, literacy, digital competences, cultural awareness and expression, citizenship, personal, social and learning to learn).

Expected results

Tangible:

Project website (publicly available) and Twinspace.

• Project branding (logo),

• A database as practical guide for teachers with good practice examples:

*E-book of climate change - definition, causes and consequences, waste problem and plastic pollution of water in general,

*Identifying human actions in waste management and plastic pollution of water in participants region,

*Creating visible and messurable messages with garbage as art,

*Taking actions in garbage cleaning challenge,

*Creating a scientific collected database of plastic pollution of local water.

Intangible:

Students will:

• Encouraging curiosity and interest in climate change using examples from everyday life,

• Developing awareness of the need to protect nature, creating a responsible relationship towards nature with personal involvement and awareness of responsibility for one's own actions.
