Danny Fortune Founder/Chief Client Care Officer 4CHIN Media

Hi, my name is Danny Fortune and I'm the founder/chief client care officer here at 4CHIN Media.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to learn about our company and the awesome services we provide our small business clients.

If you don't mind me asking... how did you hear about us?

Thanks for your feedback!

So, back to who we are and what we do.

If you want the "formal" tag-line answer to who we are and what we do...

4CHIN Media is a full service marketing boutique located in northern California that specializes in helping small business owners integrate their web design, seo, and social media management services into one simple, streamlined, and cost effective solution.

Now that we got that out of the way, I'm happy to share why we do what we do.

After all, people don't really buy WHAT we sell... they buy WHY we sell it. (Thanks Simon Sinek ;)

So, here's why I started 4CHIN Media.

To be honest, I didn't "found" this company. At the risk of sounding cliche, this company and the line of work that I do actually found me.

My back story...

After being honorably discharged from the Army after 8 years of service and with 2 combat deployments in my rucksack, I needed to attach myself to a higher calling in the civilian sector, and this proved more challenging than I thought it would.

I struggled with employment as I tried to reintegrate back into the civilian sector, found myself depressed, and started self medicating with alcohol.

Things got REALLY bad there for awhile. I almost lost everything... wife, kids, sanity... yes, even my life.

I too almost became a statistic by entering the ranks of other military veterans that chose to check out via death by suicide.

You may be wondering... what does this have to do with business.

For me, it has everything to do with business, because it's this business and serving small business owners that has (no B.S.) saved my life.

It's crazy, and maybe you can relate, but becoming a small business owner has both saved my life, and taken it.

My wife/kids would totally agree :)

Doing so saved my life because entrepreneurship has been the only endeavor that has been able to even come remotely close to rivaling my military service in terms of uncertainty and difficulty.

Everything else I tried was boring at best.

It's been entrepreneurship/4CHIN Media that once again gave me a mission and purpose bigger than myself, and even though it is extremely challenging, at least I'm not taking small arms fire, or giving near-miss "kisses" to IED's.

With that being said, this has also taken my life, because now I eat, sleep, and breathe providing an unparalleled level of care to my small business clients.

In my world, your problems are my problems. What's keeping you up at night keeps me up too. If you fail, then somewhere along the line, I failed too and that's never okay with me and my team.

Obviously, this level of care comes at a cost, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

In my eyes, far too many small businesses fail and, in most cases, those failures could have been prevented. I'm not okay with that.

So, at the root of what we do here at 4CHIN Media is a small business owner that's acutely aware of the issues all small business owners face doing everything he can to solve those most pressing problems.

Sure, there's a formal list of what we "specialize" in, but that is by no means all that we do.

If we don't specialize in that ourselves, then we call in a favor and make sure we get you taken care of.

Sure, we have to make money to keep this thing going, but there LITERALLY is no job too big, and no task too small for the 4CHIN Media team, because we will stop at nothing (as long it's legal and can be done in good faith) to deliver the best products and solutions we can to our clients.

This isn't just talking points to us.

If we have to take a temporary loss to make it right, deliver on our promises, and protect our reputation... then we take a loss.

If we have to go the extra mile and burn the midnight oil to outdo ourselves, then we're all running shoes and Red Bulls.

Why?

Because we're fiendishly devoted to delivering the unequivocal, undeniable, no doubt, hands down, best small business solutions to you at the price-point most small business owners can ACTUALLY afford.

At this point, you might be thinking, "Duh, isn't that what everyone's doing?"

Unfortunately, it isn't. It's just what most digital marketing agencies, or marketing "guru's" say they do.

Problem...

Most small business owners are stuck paying a web designer to "host" their website (for a monthly fee)...

Then your have the seo guy (another monthly fee)

And IF you're lucky you have someone working on your social media management (more fees, or, at least opportunity cost)...

Naturally, this gets both confusing and pricey pretty quick, and you're left to spend most (if not all) of your time working IN your business with little (to no) time to work ON your business.

So, what's the answer?

Obviously, each business (to include yours) is unique, but there are still universals in business.

And the universal answer to most of the problems that most small business owners is integration of the most important aspects of their business.

In the digital age, the most important aspects of every business require integration in three broad, but overlapping concentrations.

1. Your online digital brochure (website).

2. How your website communicates with the middle man between you and your customers (search engines).

3. The "word of mouth" plumbing structure of the digital age (social media).

All three of these aspects of your business are equally important. Not only to your customers, but to each other.

Your website needs to properly communicate with search engines to reach your customers and most if not all of your customers are expecting you to meet them where they are; and they're on social media.

This is the current landscape that all us small business owners must face and navigate. It's easier to navigate the current digital landscape together.

And this requires what we offer here at 4chin Media

Integration of your web design, seo, and social media services in a manner that respects their individual distinctions without losing sight of the bigger picture.

As we get deeper into the Internet age, all of these different services (web design, seo, and social media) are becoming more and more integrated.

Therefore, they require a more cohesive approach to be effective.

This means, simplifying our processes and eliminating the waste associated with having too many moving pieces.

This is absolutely necessary, because with the way things are going we will eventually hit a tipping point and this level of integration will no longer be optional, but required.

We're already seeing this, and it means more and more small business slowly drifting into cyber obscurity and failing.

Many small business owners recognize this and try to remedy it by hiring multiple service providers at an extremely low rate.

While this approach is affordable up front, they wind up paying for it on the back-end in many direct and indirect ways.

This is where the almost countless number of low-level "vulture" agencies see their opportunity and move in for the "kill."

They have the small business owner right where they want us... paying too little for not nearly enough.

So they come along and say, "of course you weren't seeing any results... you weren't paying enough to get the results you need."

Naturally, while regurgitating some of the most popular small business cliche's like, "it takes money to make money" etc.,

And how do they propose to remedy our problem? Not by actually producing results, but by merely charging us more for another "not nearly enough" service.

Now, you may be wondering... "How the heck could they do this and survive in business?"

This is how...

They eventually turn their backs on small business owners like us and flood industries that have enough money floating around to pay too much for not nearly enough services.

This is, as a small business owner myself, I created 4chin Media.

Not only have I been through it, but I still go through it myself, and this is why I have it in as my mission to never abandon the highly sensationalized, carelessly exploited, and dangerously under-represented small business owner.

Why? Because I'm a small business owner myself.

Now that we got that out of the way.

Here's our services...

Simple, clean, responsive, user-friendly, search engine optimized, and most importantly... affordable web design solutions.

That's what we do!

We pride ourselves in being able to deliver quality small business websites at ANY budget level.

What good is a beautiful website no one can see?

Or, one that drives away 30% of it's visitors due to slow page load speeds?

Not good at all.

What you/your business needs is a good looking website that does what it's designed to do...

Attract them, Inform them, Move/Motivate them into action (AIM).

And while good web design has a lot to do with meeting this aim, it's merely part of a larger mix.

In the digital age, attracting, informing, and converting more customers requires a strong seo strategy specific to your industry.

This is why we avoid all the cookie cutter, one-size fits all, set it and forget it seo services that many other agencies are overcharging their small business clients for today.

We offer all our small business clients custom seo packages tailored to their unique business needs and goals.

Social media is no longer optional for small businesses. After-all, it IS the "word of mouth" pipeline in the digital age. Especially, for small businesses.

It's also tedious and time consuming for small business owners who don't have access to the right tools.

Thankfully, we have those tools and we're very good at using them.

These tools allow us to work ON your business, while you work IN your business.
