JOURNALISM SOCIETY CLUB (JSOC)
Journalism as the name implies, to advocate the truth, justice and intergrity in our writings in hopes to connect with society for the betterment of our social constructs. JSOC's vision is to advocate and cultivate their members in the path of truth and justice in journalistic values. The mission is to connect, garner skilled learners from different backgrounds and cultivate members of the MC241 student into the path of journalistic values and moral whilst uphold truth and justice in our activities.
JOURNALISM FINAL YEAR STUDENTS
Journalism Colloquium is a project run by Journalism final year students and Journalism Society (JSOC) Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi (UiTM) Shah Alam. This project of 47th Journalism Colloquium will consist of student colloquium discussing the issues related in the field of Journalism and media. With a hint of difference from the previous colloquium, this time the colloquium will also organised a student convention.
JOURNALISM PROGRAMME COURSES
This project aims to share information on current issues on the future of journalism, communication and media fields with School of Communication and Media students in UiTM as well as other local & foreign universities..
This course equips students with the fundamentals of reporting. It aids in meeting the demand for journalists who have received specialised training in the media business. The subjects covered in the subject span from banking and finance to the capital markets to economic and corporate news.
The course aims to educate students about the different types of law and journalism ethics that related to media practitioners.
OBJECTIVES OF JOURNIEPEDIA
To expose students to build networking for marketing and communications related to the journalism project.
To encourage student mobility and networking opportunities through local and international collaboration in line with SDG 13: Climate Action, SDG 15 : Life on Land and SDG 17: Partnership For The Goals.
