Here’s the FULL Dr. Seuss-style storybook version of All 47 Presidents with rhyming lines, rhythm, and bounce:
Oh, gather in close, let’s hop and we’ll run,
Through the land of the leaders from Washington!
He fought for the people, then waved and was done,
“I’ll serve just two terms, not three! Only one!”
Then came John Adams, so strict and so prim,
He passed Alien Acts… were they good? Maybe grim.
Next Jefferson purchased some land by the ton,
Louisiana! “Oh boy, that’s some fun!”
Madison battled the British with pride,
“The White House is burning! Quick—get inside!”
Then Monroe said, “Europe? You stay away,
This is OUR hemisphere! Got it? Okay?”
John Quincy Adams had plans mighty grand,
But “corrupt bargains” spoiled the votes in the land.
And Jackson? Oh Jackson! He stomped with his boot,
“The Bank must be busted! And tariffs? Toot toot!”
Van Buren slipped as the markets all fell,
The Panic was awful, oh my, what a spell.
Harrison marched, gave a speech in the rain,
He caught a bad cold… and never came again.
Tyler brought Texas, “We’ll annex it now!”
He fought with his party—oh boy, and how!
Polk pointed west: “Let’s grow big and bold!
We’ll reach California with wagons and gold!”
But Taylor got sick—“Oh my, what a fail!”
And Fillmore signed laws to keep peace on the trail.
Pierce watched as Kansas grew bloody and mean,
“States and their slavery? Oh what a scene!”
Buchanan did nothing as states ripped away,
The Union was cracking, no help from his sway.
Lincoln stood tall with a stovepipey hat,
“Free all the slaves! Now let’s fight for that!”
But he was struck down at the close of the fight,
A tragic, dark day for what’s just and what’s right.
Johnson was sour, impeached for his sass,
But Grant fought for rights with a whiskey-filled glass.
Hayes struck a deal, troops went home in the night,
And Garfield was shot before he got it right.
Arthur grew whiskers and cleaned up the mess,
With civil reform, he said, “No to excess!”
Then Cleveland came in with a veto so firm,
But Harrison raised tariffs at every turn.
Cleveland came BACK (yes, twice! What a run!)
But depression returned and folks weren’t having fun.
McKinley declared war with Spain, “Let’s go!”
Till a bullet cut short his presidential show.
Teddy Roosevelt charged with a “Bully!” and “Blast!”
He busted big trusts and built parks to last.
Taft got so stuck (in a bathtub, it’s true!)
While Wilson made Points—fourteen! Can you do?
Harding was scandal with oil in the dome,
And Coolidge said little, just ran business home.
Hoover saw stock markets crash in a fall,
The Great Depression—“Oh dear! That’s a sprawl!”
Then F.D.R. said, “A New Deal for all!”
He fought through a war and stood steady and tall.
Truman dropped bombs, the whole world stood in awe,
“I made the hard call,” with a shake of the jaw.
Eisenhower built roads that would roll on for miles,
Then Kennedy dreamed of the moon with his smiles.
Johnson signed Civil Rights—what a feat!
But Vietnam’s war made him lose his seat.
Nixon got caught in a Watergate tangle,
He waved goodbye with a victory-angle.
Ford took the wheel and pardoned the past,
Carter tried solar but trouble amassed.
Then Reagan declared, “Tear that wall down!”
As the Soviets crumbled, he wore his big crown.
Bush the First fought a war in Kuwait,
But lost re-election at Clinton’s debate.
Clinton played sax but was nearly impeached,
“Oh dear, Monica… my popularity’s breached!”
Bush the Second watched towers fall,
Then wars overseas that seemed never small.
Obama brought hope, and Osama was gone,
“Health care for all!” was his loudest song.
Trump tweeted walls, and the country was split,
Impeachments and riots—oh what a bit!
Biden brought allies and bills that were long,
A calmer old voice, “Let’s right what went wrong!”
Trump came again with his MAGA red hat,
“Oh yes,” he declared, “I’m BACK just like that!”

Forty-seven presidents, fast and true!
