The best way to reach UAM by public transport is by commuter train, which runs every 10–15 minutes from the following stations:

• Atocha: 25 minutes to UAM (Cantoblanco Universidad station)

• Sol: 20 minutes to UAM

• Nuevos Ministerios: 15 minutes to UAM

• Chamartín: 10 minutes to UAM

• Fuencarral: 5 minutes to UAM

Upon arriving at UAM / Cantoblanco Universidad station, you will easily find the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, as it is the first building you encounter on your left after exiting the station. Simply walk straight ahead upon leaving the station, and the first faculty building on the left is ours, the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. Inside, you will find the Salón de Actos directly across from the main entrance.
