Redeeming Your Microsoft Achievement Code

within the Microsoft Learn Educator Center

Want an easy way to show your administrator that you have been working to improve your skills? Head over to the Microsoft Learn Educator Center. There you will find a number of courses that you can take to learn more about using Microsoft tools in your classroom. Your profile automatically builds a transcript of the courses that you take, updating in real time. When you are ready to share with your admin just print the transcript and you have an official document to share.

Points and badges are awarded by Microsoft as you take part in activities on the Learn Educator Center site. You also get points for webinar and conference presentations when Microsoft Certified Trainers issue achievement codes. Once redeemed, the codes add points to your profile which puts you on the road to earning badges in the Learn Educator Center. Feel free to share all of your tracked activity as part of your professional learning documentation.

To redeem a achievement code you must be a member of the Microsoft Learn Educator Center.

• 1. Go to the Microsoft Educator Center: https://learn.microsoft.com/#!/

  2. Log in

     1. If you are already a member, click SIGN IN and follow the sign-in instructions.

     2. If you are NOT a member, click JOIN NOW and use either your free Office Online or Microsoft365 account.

        • We suggest that you use a personal free Microsoft account rather than a school based Microsoft365 account. This will ensure that if you should ever leave the district, then you will still have access to the points and badges that you have already earned.

        • If you do not have a free Office Online account, then you can create one here. After you create the account, be sure to complete your profile information (name, photo, language preference). This is how the Education Center will know who you are.

To redeem the code you can either:

Copy and paste the link(s) provided into your browser and click redeem when the pop-up window opens (picture below).

Or you can:

Click on your profile and the "achievements" in the left menu. Click "Redeem your code now". Enter the promotional code you were given in the pop-up box. Don’t forget to click Redeem.
