I enjoyed being able to see I-10 again, I hadn't seen it for years since I'd left LA to move to Pittsburgh in 2017. Served us well through short trips between the airport, L-202, and I-17 during my trip
First view of I-10!!! While I wasn't surprised, I didn't expect that they used ramp metering in Phoenix. We didn't end up using it because it just wasn't turned on at the time. Maybe a blessing for one less red light.
Technically on the ramp for L-202
Thought this was kind of an odd way to structure this sign. Maybe I just don't see any like this here in PA. Also on the 7th St. Westbound exit
Technically on the ramp from L-202's HOV lanes but this is the view of AZ-51 from the HOV lanes. Saw this several times. By the way, the HOV lanes here are marked with a single solid white line because Arizona lets you switch into them anytime you'd like so long as you meet the requirements. There are some areas with double solids, like in the outskirts of the city on I-17 but not in the city itself. I think it kind of defeats one of the functions of the lane but it's also a cool idea.
Tunnel leading underneath a cap project they did over the freeway. Living in PA I thought it was weird that they didn't restrict lane changing underneath, but with a freeway this wide I guess it doesn't matter
Once again on the I-10/AZ-51/L-202 interchange
Exit 143A to I-17 cc US-60
Exit 147A or C to L-202
Exit 147B to AZ-51
Exit 153A to AZ-143
Exit 199 to I-8
Exit 260 to I-19
