Team 4545 Ouroboros is an FTC Robotics team from Vandegrift High School that wants to share the excitement of robotics and S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with others. We have 4 Hardware members, one Marketing member, and four Software members. 4545 Ouroboros was started in 2010 as the original Vandegrift ViperBots team. Fourteen years later, 4545 is still thriving and, we are all very excited to compete in this year’s FTC challenge, Into The Deep!

I’ve always been fascinated with engineering and problem solving and ViperBots has been the perfect outlet for me to exercise this passion. I’ve learned numerous things ranging from CAD to soft-skills through ViperBots. Outside of robotics, I play the Indian instrument Mirudangam, read, and fly RC planes.

Being in ViperBots has helped me grow in not only the field of Software but also in my CAD and Hardware skills! A lot of the experiences in robotics relate to being a Computer Engineer which is something I want to pursue in the future. Outside of robotics I do theatre, read, and watch cricket!

I joined robotics because I wanted to explore different branches of STEM. After learning about the various facets of hardware, I’m excited to learn more about marketing and be a part of this process! When I’m not doing robotics, I like to watch soccer, read, & listen to music.

After my first year of Viperbots I fell in love with the culture and community, and I just couldn't not come back. I learned so much about computer science and soft skills, things that will help me progress my future. This year I look most forward to continuing to learn, and having a great time with those around me.

I continued to be in ViperBots because it is such an amazing community and there are so many opportunities for you to learn and grow in any subject that you would like to be better at. I learned a lot of things while being in ViperBots and the main thing that I would say that I learned is time management.

I joined Viperbots because I love the idea of working on a team and creating something we could all be proud of together through lots of hard work and dedication. I’m looking forward on getting to know the many people participating in Viperbots and especially my team! Through this experience, I hope I learn to better communicate with people and to learn more about engineering.

I joined Viperbots because I want to get more experience with engineering in a hands-on environment. I hope to learn more about how to build with tools, how to collaborate in an engineering environment, and also how to handle CAD so I can better learn how to model. I look forward most to building a robot with my team, and also becoming better friends with my team.

I joined Viperbots to get a simulation of a job environment while also obtaining knowledge about a career path I want to pursue. I hope to learn as much as I can about coding, dealing with team disagreements, and how to be a team player. I am looking forward to spending time with everyone on the team and I hope to have a lot of fun with them.
