Hello my name is Christina Roberts! This will be my 1st year teaching at Bedford South Elementary school. I am so excited to join this wonderful school community! Prior to working at Bedford South, I worked at South Woodside Elementary for three years as a grade 4/5 classroom teacher and I worked at Alderney Elementary School for a year as their Learning Centre teacher. Before working for the Halifax Regional Educational Centre, I worked at a private school that focused on supporting students with learning disabilities and also taught in the United Kingdom teaching year 5.

I am also a teacher for Cole Harbour Foundations tutoring company and teach SpellRead a program that focuses on developing student's phonological awareness. I have been working for Cole Harbour Foundations for four years. I have also taught JumpMath a numeracy program.
For three summer, I taught the English-Language Program called Explore at Dalhousie University. I have taught Beginner and Intermediate Level English classes to students in grade 11 and within their post-secondary education.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner Kyle, my family and friends. I volunteer as a unit guider for Girl Guides of Canada. I'm also fond of hiking, cooking, reading and learning new skills.
