Need For Speed Teaser Image Released

Today Electronic Arts released a teaser image of their new Need For Speed game, the image was captioned with “Are you ready for the next chapter?” hinting at a clear followup to their previous games.

The image depicts a green car with “Speedhunters” written on the cars’ wheel. Speedhunters i the name of EA’s car culture community, which suggest that the group will have some sort of role to play in the game, however this is as of yet unconfirmed and mere speculation on the part of journalists alike.

The game could become a new installment to the Need for Speed Underground series, but it could quite as easily be a completely new racing game series on it’s own right. Back in January, EA stated the game was “already looking spectacular”, now with the teaser image fully released I have to wonder how much of these textures and detail will be in the actual game. We all know by now that press release images and/or leaked videos or pictures tend to be from very short in-game demos, or quite simply created outside of the game entirely.

I’m not a huge fan of racing games, but the better the graphics of them become the more tempted I am to play them more often. I’d love to race around known areas in high graphics, how about you? You looking forward to this game?

Destiny’s ‘Toughest’ New Content Beaten

Just hours after the launch, a group of players have claimed victory over its toughest new challenge, the Prison of Elders co-op arena. Below is a video showing the kill, It looks rather hectic.

The Prison of Elders is supposedly so difficult, that even Bungie developers couldn’t finish it during a livestream earlier this month.

The leader of the succesful run was Sunshadow. This name might be familiar to you as he was the person who beat Crota’s End by himself. Without even firing a single shot. What’s even more impressive about this playthrough is that it was completed on the toughest difficulty setting, level 35.

Begs the question, was it truly that difficult? How legit was this kill?
