42 Laps is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what the app accesses and what happens to it.
42 Laps uses your device's camera, live, to detect wall touches for lap counting.
Camera frames are analyzed in memory, in real time, to measure motion in the zone you mark on screen.
No photos or video are ever saved, recorded, or uploaded. Frames are discarded immediately after each analysis pass.
Camera access is used only while the app is open and the camera screen is visible.
42 Laps saves your practice history — the date/time of each session and your lap splits — locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage.
This data is never transmitted anywhere. 42 Laps has no server or backend; there is nothing for it to send data to.
You can delete any saved session at any time from the History screen.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of this data permanently.
No account or sign-in is required or collected.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included.
No location data is accessed.
No data is shared with, or sold to, any third party — there is no third party involved in how the app works.

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and the new version will be published at the same location.
