Hi, I'm Erika Joy! I am an educator, joyful creator, and poet.

Creating in classrooms and in the wild that is this world, I've explored creating in the written word, visual illustrations, and arts and crafts.

The majority of my work is self-initiated. Consistent themes that run through my work are navigating the change in music, returning to laughter, and friendship. I find inspiration in unexpected connections, friendships, and being in spaces with other writers and teachers.

I am open to commission work for personalized poems, book cover design, selected audiobook narration, writing coaching, and poetic story analysis for writers.
