Did you know that New York State has a goal of reducing fossil fuel emissions 40% by 2030? Not many people do, which is why we created this subcommittee in Spring of 2024. We're focused on how Fairport and Perinton can reach "40 by 30," as well as the next goal, which is an 85% reduction by 2050.
"40 by 30" and "85 by 50" are challenging goals to reach! But they are not impossible, with planning and action from ordinary citizens like ourselves -- and our community leaders.
We'd love for you to be involved!
