The flights are booked, but the significant dilemma still exists! The one to choose the right hotel for your upcoming international trip. Hotels are temporary home to regular travellers; thus, comfortable and convenience matter.
There is a wide range of 4-star hotels in Lebanon, and Airbnb’s available for any international location. But, given the choice and list, there still needs to be criteria to zero down your choice on a particular hotel. Here are some factors you must consider before booking a hotel next time you visit Beirut!
Hotel Location: One of the vitalities that must be kept under check is the hotel's exact location. Google Maps and user reviews are quite reliable. An ideal hotel should be within walking distance from some of the famous areas on your tour-plan. So, manage to find a hotel with brilliant views while being on your budget to set the vacation right!
Hotel Room: The room should be prioritized to check on specifications like images, size, bed options, view, bathroom, air conditioning, and heating. Additional amenities like tea/coffee maker, fridge, safe, and iron board are a plus.
Hotel Amenities: The facilities and services of the Hotel must not be ignored. A hotel with a low base rate but negligible facilities may cost you more than 4-star hotels in Lebanon. Before arrivals, over a call, check for amenities like room service, 24-hour reception, housekeeping, free breakfast, payment options, cancellation policy, no-show policy, taxes, resort fees, tipping policy, etc.
Hotel Reputation: It is always advisable to stick to hotels run by popular groups. It is a safer option than standalone hotels. Such hotels are high on certain standard with their reputation at stake.
Check-in/Check-out Time: This can be a significant factor overlooked many times. No traveller would like to be in a city without a room in case of early arrival than the scheduled checking time. In prior communication, enquire the same from the hotel if they allow early check-in or late checkout. Choose a hotel that is understanding and accommodating enough to hold your luggage at least at no extra cost.
Hotel Accessibility and Safety: The hotel needs to be easily accessible from the airport and train station. If they willingly provide a free airport shuttle, that’s a big plus point. Public transport should be accessible nearby for an easy and affordable commute. The hotel must be in a secure area, and one should feel safe approaching it at odd hours, especially when travelling alone or with kids!
