Hi I'm John (Snake) President of 4 Paws 4 A Cause. I've loved dogs all of my life and have had many dogs over the years.
I've had several different occupations throughout my life. I was in the US Air Force for 4 years, but was unable to reenlist due to an injury. I have worked in Construction, and was an Electrical Technician for several years. The Veterans Affairs Office sent me back to college where I earned my associate degree in Computer Science. I was in a motorcycle accident in 2011, which left me unable to work. After being unemployed for sometime, I was able to reflect back on my life and had time figure out what it was I was supposed to be doing.
Through a mission of my church, I began training Service dogs in 2016 with Cover Six Canines. While training with Bob Fink (Dog-Father Bob) I quickly realized that this was my calling. I trained with Cover Six Canines for about 6 years at which point I realized the need for Service Dog Training was not just for veterans and first responders but anyone with a disability would benefit from having a service dog. With Bobs blessing, and the help of a few fellow trainers and friends we started 4 Paws 4 A Cause.
