About the Event

The purpose of the workshop is to learn about photography primarily by creating stations to demonstrate techniques, skills, tools, etc. with the opportunity for participants to do the activity.

What: A hands-on photography workshop with concurrent sessions led by 4-H youth photographers

When: April 24, 2022 from 10AM - 3PM

Where: Ted Ensley Gardens at Lake Shawnee in Topeka

Notices:

• This is an outdoor event (thanks to Covid), so plan to be in the elements and on your feet.

• We will watch the weather and have contingency plans.

• We are bringing in food trucks to give us energy during the event or you can bring a picnic for your group. There are also fast food and sit-down options within a couple miles. We will take an hour break for lunch.

• During the lunch and throughout the day, we also have video content to supplement the onsite classes.
