Ms. Kelly is beginning her 8th year of teaching music. She began her career at The Montessori Elementary and Middle School where she founded the 4th & 5th grade choruses consisting of 100 students and a Middle School Chorus. In addition, she created a song writing program for the Middle School General music program that she will adapt for the Tres Volcanes Middle School program. After a few years, Ms. Kelly really wanted to live outside of her hometown, and moved to southern Oregon where she took a position as the Director of Choral Activities for a district. Time in Oregon was life changing in numerous ways (too many to write- feel free to ask for stories!) but Ms. Kelly learned the very hard lesson of overworking yourself. She decided to quit teaching and lived in Europe to pursue her lifelong dream of seeing the world before it was "too late." THIS journey was life changing! But... even after seeing the world, one thing was for certain, teaching music was her true, true passion in life.

Ms. Kelly returned to her hometown, her family and teaching music.

Now she is teaching at Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative for the second year!
