Information on the processing of personal data concerning the event called

International conference "Mind, Machine, Multimodality. Current Issues in Linguistics and Beyond (3M2025)"

by the University of Wrocław (hereinafter referred to as the Event)

Administrator

The administrator of your personal data is the University of Wrocław with its registered office at pl. Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator or UWr.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The Administrator has appointed a data protection officer, who can be contacted via e-mail: IOD@uwr.edu.pl or by mail to the following address: pl. Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław.

You can contact the DPO in all matters concerning the processing of your personal data by the University of Wrocław and your use of rights related to the processing of personal data.

Purposes and legal basis of processing

We will process:

1)   your personal data contained in the registration form – for the purpose of registering for the Event, for the purpose of issuing a certificate of participation in the Event and for the purposes of statistics and reporting regarding the Event;

2)   your personal data in the form of an image, obtained in connection with participation in the Event at the place of its organization and photographing and filming;

3)   your personal data in the form of an image and statements, obtained in connection with participation in the Event at the place of its organization and photographing and filming and online transmission of the Event and your statement; based on your consent.[1]

Your participation in the Event at the place of its organization means consent to the processing of data indicated in paragraph 2).

Your action during the Event, consisting of introducing yourself and asking a question, taking the floor or other similar action, means consent to the processing of the data indicated in par. 3).

The processing of this data may consist of recording or recording, further sharing and dissemination. Your personal data indicated in par. 1) will be processed for a period of 90 days from the date of the end of the Event, and the remaining personal data will be stored until you withdraw your consent to their processing. You can withdraw your consent by submitting a request to the e-mail address michal.szawerna@uwr.edu.pl.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

After withdrawing your consent to processing, some of your data may be processed for the period of the Administrator's storage of reporting documentation regarding the Event, solely for the purposes of fulfilling the legal obligation incumbent on the Administrator.

Data recipients

Only authorized employees or associates of the Administrator will have access to your personal data.

The recipients of your personal data may also be entities to which the Administrator commissions the performance of specific activities, which involve the need to process personal data. In order to ensure the highest possible standard of personal data protection, a personal data processing agreement will be signed with such entities.

Your data recorded during the Event may be published on the website: https://sites.google.com/view/3m2025-student-conference/ and in other materials regarding the Event.

Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

Your data will be made available on the publicly available YouTube channel of the University of Wrocław and will be processed by Google. You can read more about data processing by Google here: https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks/

Your data in the form of an image may be published on the Administrator's profile on www.facebook.com. You can read more about data processing by Facebook at: https://pl-pl.facebook.com/business/gdpr

The above means that your data may be stored on servers of the European Union and in the territory of the United States of America.

Data storage period

We will store your personal data until the task for which the personal data was collected is completed or until you withdraw your consent to processing, unless there are legally justified grounds for further processing of your data.

Rights of data subjects

Under the principles set out in the GDPR, you have the right to access your data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing, transfer data and the right to object to further processing. If you consider that the processing of personal data violates the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Other information

Decisions in your case will not be made in an automated manner, and your data will not be profiled.

Obligation to provide data and consequences of failure to provide data

Providing data is voluntary. Providing the data described in paragraph 1) of the section "Purposes and legal basis of processing" is necessary to participate in the Event and receive a certificate of participation in the Event. If you do not want your image to be recorded, you should refrain from participating in the Event at the place of its organization.

Informacja o przetwarzaniu danych osobowych dotycząca wydarzenia pod nazwą

Międzynarodowa konferencja „Myślenie, maszyna, multimodalność. Aktualne problemy na styku lingwistyki i innych obszarów badawczych (3M2025)” (International conference ‟Mind, Machine, Multimodality: Current Issues in Linguistics and Beyond (3M2025)”) przez Uniwersytet Wrocławski (dalej: Wydarzenie)

Administrator

Administratorem Pani/Pana danych osobowych jest Uniwersytet Wrocławski z siedzibą przy pl. Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław, zwany dalej Administratorem lub UWr.

Inspektor ochrony danych (IOD)

Administrator powołał inspektora ochrony danych, z którym można się skontaktować poprzez adres e-mail: IOD@uwr.edu.pl lub listownie na adres: pl. Uniwersytecki 1, 50-137 Wrocław.

Z IOD można kontaktować się we wszystkich sprawach dotyczących przetwarzania Pani/Pana danych osobowych przez Uniwersytet Wrocławski oraz korzystania przez Panią/Pana z praw związanych
z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych.

Cele i podstawy prawne przetwarzania

Będziemy przetwarzać:

1)  Pani/Pana dane osobowe zawarte w formularzu rejestracyjnym – w celu zapisów na Wydarzenie, w celu wystawienia zaświadczenia o uczestnictwie w Wydarzeniu oraz w celach statystyki i sprawozdawczości dotyczącej Wydarzenia;

2)  Pani/Pana dane osobowe w postaci wizerunku, pozyskane w związku z uczestnictwem
w Wydarzeniu w miejscu jego organizacji i fotografowaniem oraz filmowaniem;

3)  Pani/Pana dane osobowe w postaci wizerunku i wypowiedzi, pozyskane w związku
z uczestnictwem w Wydarzeniu w miejscu jego organizacji i fotografowaniem oraz filmowaniem i transmisją on-line Wydarzenia i Pani/Pana wypowiedzią;

na podstawie Pani/Pana zgody[2].

Pani/Pana uczestnictwo w Wydarzeniu w miejscu jego organizacji oznacza zgodę na przetwarzanie danych wskazanych w ust. 2).

Pani/Pana działanie podczas Wydarzenia polegające się na przedstawieniu się i zadaniu pytania, zabraniu głosu lub innej podobnej czynności, oznacza zgodę na przetwarzanie danych wskazanych w ust. 3).

Przetwarzanie tych danych może polegać na utrwaleniu w postaci fotografii lub nagrania, na dalszym udostępnianiu i rozpowszechnianiu.

Pani/Pana dane osobowe wskazane w ust. 1) będą przetwarzane przez okres 90 dni od daty zakończenia Wydarzenia, a pozostałe dane osobowe będą przechowywane do momentu wycofania zgody na ich przetwarzanie. Zgodę można wycofać poprzez zgłoszenia żądania na adres mailowy michal.szawerna@uwr.edu.pl.

Wycofanie zgody nie wpływa na zgodność z prawem przetwarzania, którego dokonano na podstawie zgody przed jej wycofaniem.

Po wycofaniu zgody na przetwarzanie część Pani/Pana danych może być przetwarzana przez okres przechowywania przez Administratora dokumentacji sprawozdawczej dotyczącej Wydarzenia, wyłącznie w celach wypełnienia obowiązku prawnego ciążącego na Administratorze.

Odbiorcy danych

Dostęp do Pani/Pana danych osobowych będą posiadać wyłącznie upoważnieni pracownicy lub współpracownicy Administratora.

Odbiorcami Pani/Pana danych osobowych mogą być także podmioty, którym Administrator zleci wykonanie określonych czynności, z którymi wiąże się konieczność przetwarzania danych osobowych. W celu zapewnienia możliwie najwyższego standardu ochrony danych osobowych, z takimi podmiotami zostanie podpisana umowa powierzenia przetwarzania danych osobowych.

Pani/Pana dane utrwalone podczas Wydarzenia mogą zostać opublikowane na stronach www: https://sites.google.com/view/3m2025-student-conference/ oraz w innych materiałach dotyczących Wydarzenia.

Przekazywanie danych poza Europejski Obszar Gospodarczy (EOG)

Pani/Pana dane będą udostępnione na ogólnodostępnym kanale YouTube Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego i będą przetwarzane przez firmę Google. Więcej o przetwarzaniu danych przez Google można przeczytać tutaj: https://www.youtube.com/howyoutubeworks/

Państwa dane w postaci wizerunku mogą zostać opublikowane na profilu Administratora na stronie www.facebook.com. Więcej o przetwarzaniu danych przez Facebook można przeczytać na stronie: https://pl-pl.facebook.com/business/gdpr 

Powyższe oznacza, że Pani/Pana dane mogą być przechowywane na serwerach Unii Europejskiej oraz na terytorium Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki.

Okres przechowywania danych

Będziemy przechowywać Pani/Pana dane osobowe do chwili realizacji zadania, do którego dane osobowe zostały zebrane lub do czasu wycofania przez Panią/Pana zgody na przetwarzanie, o ile nie występują prawnie uzasadnione podstawy dalszego przetwarzania Pani/Pana danych.

Prawa osób, których dane dotyczą

Na zasadach określonych przez RODO, posiada Pani/Panu prawo dostępu do swoich danych oraz prawo ich sprostowania, usunięcia, ograniczenia przetwarzania, przenoszenia danych oraz prawo do wniesienia sprzeciwu wobec dalszego przetwarzania. Jeżeli uzna Pani/Pan, że przetwarzanie danych osobowych narusza przepisy prawa, ma Pani/Pan prawo do wniesienia skargi do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

Pozostałe informacje

Decyzje w Pani/Pana sprawie nie będą podejmowane w sposób zautomatyzowany, a dane nie będą poddawane profilowaniu.

Obowiązek podania danych i konsekwencje niepodania danych:

Podanie danych jest dobrowolne.

Podanie danych opisanych w ust. 1) części „Cele i podstawy prawne przetwarzania” jest niezbędne do udziału w Wydarzenia i otrzymania zaświadczenia o uczestnictwie w Wydarzeniu.

Jeżeli nie chce Pani/Pan, aby Pani/Pana wizerunek został utrwalony, należy powstrzymać się od udziału w Wydarzeniu w miejscu jego organizacji.
