Q: Is this site safe for users of all ages?
A: Yes, but parental guidance is advised. 3DSMovies puts up content that may not be suitable for younger audiences.
Q: My movie/video is out of sync!
A: Try pausing and unpausing the movie, this usually fixes up the issue. If not; report it in the Discord so we can re-convert the file.
Q: Why are there black bars on the screen?
A: Most movies on this site are kept in their original aspect ratio, so some movies and TV shows are presented with black bars on the screen. This is normal and not a glitch.
Q: How do I know how much storage I'd need?
A: You check the size. 1GB= 1024 MB = 1073741824 bytes. The CIAs install on the SD Card, not the system memory/NAND.
Q: Can I play these on my Nintendo DS or DSi?
A: No. These are specifically encoded and made for the Nintendo 3DS and it's family of systems. But, there's other conversion tools for the DS/DSi such as Moonshell, as well as an MP4 player for the console. Go here for more information on those.
Q: How do I install a movie?
A: Using a PC or mobile device, download the CIA file of your choosing, copy it to the "cias" folder on your SD card, and use FBI (or FBI Reloaded) to install the file on your modded system.
Q: Do the 3D movies work on the 2DS / 2DS XL?
A: Yes, but they will just play in 2D.
Q: How do I make my own CIA? Mobiclip's license file isn't working!

Q: Can I use MicroSD/ MiniSD cards?
A: Yes. For the original 3DS models (3DS, 2DS, 3DS XL), you'll need an adapter for it to work.
Q: Does my system NEED to be modded?

Q: Is this legal?
