Now & Future

What has been happening?

We've seen lots of holographic technology with VR headsets or 3D glasses. However, in the near future, we might be able to see 3D with no wearable tech accessories at all!

Meeting someone far away!

Studying or working from home? Hopping onto Zoom meetings all day with classmates or colleagues in the little squares? It is exhausting. What if in the future, despite distance and restrictions, your teammates can be beamed right into your work space in real time anywhere in the world?

3D Television is not a myth?

Having gone to movies and paid for a premium ticket with 3D glasses? What if we can see 3D on our televisions at home? What if there is a television where it tracks you eyes to provide you an immersive 3D experience with no headsets?

Looking into the Future

Communication & Collaboration

As we've seen in previous examples, holographic technology is not so far from us. As it becomes more sophisticated, it could redefine long-distance communication. Imagine sitting at home, but being beamed into a different country, and communicate with locals in their language? Holographic technology could allow us to interact with 3D images of each other in real time anywhere. This could transform remote meetings, education, and social interactions.

Information Storage & Analysis

Future holographic technology could revolutionize data storage and analysis. We are already using holographic technology to store data in the cloud. In the future, scientists and engineers could visualize complex datasets as 3D holograms. This can offer a deeper understanding of the data and encourage more innovation in the fields of science and engineering.

Immersive Education

Holographic technology holds significant potential in transforming the landscape of education by offering immersive and interactive learning experiences. It could create virtual labs, provide anatomy and medical education, hands-on practical engineering training, and give students the opportunity to learn history and cultural exploration by "living" through the experiences.
