Start by slicing (making a file that your specific 3D printer can read) and then printing the file "3D Face Shields Headband.stl". For a 0.4 mm nozzle, standard on most printers, we recommend printing at a 0.25 mm layer height, 0% infill, and at 60 mm/s. For a 0.8 mm nozzle, we recommend printing at a 0.3 mm layer height, 0% infill, and at 60 mm/s.
Print out the file named "3D Face Shields Template" on a regular blank piece of paper on a regular printer. Make sure it prints at 100% scale. Once that is done, lay one to two sheets of overhead film over the template. Hole punch the six holes at the top twice, each cut overlapping slightly so the whole template's hole is no longer visible. Then, use scissors to cut out the corners at the bottom. You can reuse the template as many times as you want, so you don't have to print out a new one each time.
Push the cut out holes through the headband holes. They should lock in place by themselves. And that's it! Your face shield is complete! Now time to start again...
