I am using Lenovo TP X1 Yoga with Intel Graphics HD 620 to connect to my customers' systems and have very strange issue: when Citrix app is loaded I cannot click on it since the mouse cursor is shifted right a few centimetres. Clicking on these apps is alike lottery but simply a way too difficult to use.

This library contains computer mouse cursors for Microsoft Windows systems. There are two types of cursors supported directly by Windows operating systems:static (.cur) and animated (.ani). Both types are present in this library.Learn how to download cursors.

If you change your cursors frequently, consider using a free tool that allows you tochange cursor from Windows Explorer context menu. Beside changing cursors one by one, the tool also allows exporting and importing cursor schemes.

If you do not want to install any software, just click on Control Panel in Start menu, then double-click the Mouse icon andswitch to Pointer tab. Here you can change the cursors used by Windows in differentsituations to the downloaded ones.

Important: only cursor authors or copyright holders may add cursor to the library. If you are using pictures downloaded from internet to create cursors, you must make sure the author of the picturesallows this use of their work.

Important: always create 32x32 pixels cursors unless you have a serious reason not to. While it is possible to make cursors of non-standard size, Windows will automatically resample them decreasing image quality.

At a previous company I had a bindkey (Shift+Home) that would display all layers below the mouse cursor. This called a custom Skill function from the PDK, and I've been unable to replicate it or find a similar function. Any suggestions on how to implement this?

Unfortunately I'm using an old process in 5.1.4. The technologies that had this bindkey enabled were also in 5.1x, so I know it's possible. Any thoughts on how to list the layers under the cursor in 5.1.4?

I have an experiment where subjects respond with the mouse only at the end of each trial. I have a separate routine for this response period, which includes a mouse event. The problem is, the mouse cursor is displayed throughout the entire trial, and I would like it to only display at the start of the last routine.

Hi,

I have a similar problem but when I tried this recommendation, it did not work in my case.

I have the rating component in the same routine and that the rating is done as the last activity in the routine. I still see the mouse cursor right from the beginning of the experiment till the end. Please help me to make the mouse cursor visible only during the rating period. I have included the screenshot.

Did you ever find a solution? I am having this exact problem at the moment and cannot get the mouse to disappear during video routines at all. Unfortunately as it is a visual perception experiment this is actually the only routine where I NEED the cursor to be gone!

The tip of the white arrow cursor will be located at the top right corner of the screen and the body of the arrow will not be visible because of its shape (the body of the arrow is below and to the right of its tip). The bottom left or bottom right corners of the screen would work just as well. If you specify coordinates that are outside the screen area (e.g. (2,2) or (100,100)), I think the cursor ends up in the same corner (e.g. at (1,1)).

I added this code to the Begin Routine tab and the Each Frame tab of the code component. Adding it to the Each Frame tab ensures that the mouse cursor is returned to the required position whenever the user attempts to move it. The cursor will briefly appear on the screen when the user moves the mouse to bring it on-screen, but will quickly move back off-screen. I added a Mouse component and a code component to each routine in which I wanted to hide the mouse cursor.

Wondering if anyone can help with this UI problem. I recently switched to using a trackball mouse, and I have noticed that (particularly) while working on drawings, the mouse cursor being constrained to the edge of my screen is very limiting. One benefit of the trackball is being able to scroll infinitely in any direction with much less effort than a traditional mouse, however since my cursor can't move past the edge of my display (as happens in programs like Autodesk) my panning ability is very limited. I would like to be able to pan beyond the bounds of my display, as I like to work fairly zoomed-in while reviewing drawings.

Does anyone know of any way to enable the mouse to move beyond the screen while panning? I have looked across forums and Google, also delved into the config options with several keywords but to no avail.

I seem to remember that sometime in the distant past you could set up the system to "wrap" around the screen with the mouse. The mouse would enter the opposite side of the screen when you passed the edge of the screen. I can not find such a setting on my current system. Then again, I may be a bit senile.

I don't think this is possible, as Creo tracks the pan "shift" by calculating the distance between the mouse cursor position on the desktop from its initial position (i.e., when the middle-mouse button was clicked) So even when I use a 3rd party application (AutoIT) that makes my mouse cursor "wrap" around the edges of my desktop, Creo display simply snaps back when the mouse wrap-around happens. Easier to see it than to describe it in words, so I hope you get my drift.

I'd say you should put in a product enhancement idea for Creo to have panning mode like in AutoCAD, where mouse tracking isn't stopped at the desktop boundaries thereby making infinite scrolling possible.

Bought myself the flow x13 for a bday gift and ive had for about 3 weeks. Was playing command and conquer Tiberian sun the other day using the stock mouse pad(I have yet to buy a USB mouse) and I go to turn it on today and the screen has resized smaller and the entire mouse cursor is gone making the mouse pad useless.

The Issue

When returning to Shotcut after my laptop screen times out, the mouse cursor no longer registers with the screen objects correctly - there is an offset. For example, when working correctly, if the mouse cursor is hovering over the play controls - like play or play quickly forwards, the button will be delineated with a square box. But, when returning to Shotcut after a screen timeout, this no longer happens unless the mouse cursor is placed some distance below the target button. The problem is obvious over these particular buttons but not so easily seen when working in the timeline say. Correct operation can be restored by toggling the maximize button at the top-right corner. Apologies if the problem has already been reported, but since it has been present over multiple versions, I thought it worth reporting anyway.

An expression binding? Add a property below style with the name cursor. Then give it an expression that reads in your boolean property and returns either hand or inherit (or whatever other values):

This works fine in Windows 7 64 Bit with Live 8, with a 32bit VST plugin, but it does not hide the mouse cursor with Cubase 5. Calling SetCursor(0) in another 32bit VST plugin that does not use JUCE works fine, though.

It turns out that I need to hide the cursor via Windows API as well if I want it to disappear immediately on click. As an example, this is custom code for having a customized Slider that hides the mouse on MouseDown and displays it again on MouseUp:

If I type something here in the white Input field, I have a black | for the text cursor, that's okay. But the mouse text cursor is white if I move it above this input field, the reddit search or the edge address bar.

I am developing a game for windows store (desktops) using monogame framework. everything else is working excellent except the Mouse cursor which is working well but not showing at time of playing game.

I'm building a kiosk using Ubuntu Precise on a touch screen. Now I'm looking for the appropriate way to make the mouse cursor disappear. As people know where they are pointing, displaying an arrow under their finger is useless, and having an arrow where they last pointed even more so.

The purpose of this program is to hide the pointer after the mouse has not moved for a while. Using it, you can make the pointer appear only when the user touches the screen, and disappear right after it. Maybe this was not exactly what you were aiming for, but it is much easier than your alternative.

When a mouse is connected to xbox series x but not used (controller used in the game) a mouse cursor persist in the middle of screen.

Need to unplug the mouse from xbox to remove the cursor.

If the mouse is not used : the cursor should disappear?

Ok, problem solved. my controller keyboard accessory uses a dongle in a USB port. The game thinks this is a mouse. Remove dongle and mouse cursor disappears. Of course this means I cannot use the controller keyboard accessory when playing the game. Bit of a bug eh?

It does seem like the edge cursor and the forza cursor are linked, and can be used to make the cursor disappear i moved it to the bottom right of my screen, and now in the game its completely gone without having to unplug the dongle for my controller keyboard accessory

I have a mini PC connected to my TV with Windows 10. I "control" it with VNC. TightVNC is installed as a service on the PC. My client is Hippo LITE on iOS. This works fine when there is a mouse plugged into the PC (even though I don't use the mouse, but my VNC client). When there is no mouse device plugged in the pc, I cannot see a cursor. The cursor disappears as soon as the mouse is unplugged.

The next main thing to get is that the act of physically removing a mouse is what causes windows to hide the cursor. Even if you get the Mouse Keys config right, as soon as you physically unplug the mouse the cursor will probably disappear.

Quote : "I know its old, but it is still coming up in google searches.. Enabling Mouse Keys worked for me. I am on win 8.1 Just went to the start menu, typed in mouse > down aarowed to the Ease of Access mouse> tabbed twice to the settings and flipped the switch for "Use numeric keypad to move mouse around screen" and voila, it worked." 2351a5e196
