1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY & PARENTAL CONSENT
Our app is a game-like social platform designed for users of all ages, including children under the age of 15.
• Users Under 15: In accordance with Egyptian law, if you are under 15 years of age, you are not permitted to create an account or provide any personal data without the explicit, documented consent of your parent or legal guardian.
• Parental Rights: Parents or guardians can review, edit, or request the deletion of their child's personal data at any time by contacting us at 3alla.ma3adna@gmail.com.
• If we discover we have collected data from a child under 15 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
With verified consent where applicable, we collect:
• Account Information: Email address, username, and avatar/skin selection.
• Proximity & Location Data: When a user checks in to a hangout, the app processes precise location data to verify proximity to the hangout coordinates. This location is only stored at the moment of check-in to verify arrival and is not used for any other purpose. It is never used for continuous tracking or profiling, and is never visible to other users outside of your groups.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including hangouts created, groups joined, coins earned, and punishments assigned.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
In accordance with Egyptian law, children's data is never used for behavioral profiling, tracking, or automated monitoring. Data is used to:
• Manage and secure user accounts.
• Process hangout check-ins and determine arrival status.
• Manage in-app currency (coins), skins, and the virtual shop.
• Facilitate group features, leaderboards, and social interactions.
• Deliver required in-app or push notifications.
4. DATA SHARING & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• In-App Visibility: Your chosen username and avatar are visible only to members of your joined groups.
• AdMob Integration: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy
• Third-Party Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers (such as Supabase for authentication and database hosting) to facilitate our services. These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and industry-standard data protection practices.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by Egyptian law or to protect our legal rights.
5. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
Your data is retained only for as long as your account is active. Users (or their legal guardians) may completely delete their account at any time from the Settings screen. Account deletion permanently and securely wipes all associated data from our databases.
6. SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure authentication through Supabase. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Parents/guardians will be notified of material changes.
