Makers Gandía is a community of students based on Maker culture and DIY. We want to motivate the union between people applying collective intelligence and creativity to carry out a project that inspires us.
We are students who have realized that the training of people goes far beyond what is learned within the classes. We know that, after years of effort studying, we receive something called Degree, or Master. But, obviously, the title does not make the person. The student builds himself, and that is not going to be taught. We need to participate, we are pro-active and we want to see that we teach to be fulfilled (or not), acquire skills such as initiative, critical sense, and above all learn to create things that impact and leave a mark on society.
Interactive and Immersive Media (IIM) is an emerging group of Research and Development (R & D), integrated in the Department of Communications (DCOM) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain, with facilities located in the Gandia Campus of the UPV.
