Sorry to disapoint but I'm still thinking of an Idea. I know I am going to do the cellular automata because I enjoy coding on p5, but I don't know how I will make my product unique. I want to finish the lab first. But I also think I will laser cut this project because I already know how to use it and the embroidery machine still seems complicated and it seems like it has a lot of extra steps.
So new idea: stamp!

I tried to make a 3d box but failed so I tried something new.
You will see the code below from lab 7. I made this using rule 81. I wanted to transform this blocky pattern into something else.
I generated these lines. Then, using the SVG from this file and Blender(I am much more accustomed to Blender) I colored certain shapes so we have a sense of negative a and positive space, even though you lose a sense of the cellular automata.
