The American Poolplayers Association (APA) has provided a fun, fair, and competitive league for over 40 years. The Equalizer® system lets players of any skill level compete against each other evenly.

With The Equalizer®, it’s feasible for a beginner to have a nearly equal chance in a match against a more highly skilled player. The Equalizer® aids the lesser skilled player by dictating mathematically that he/she needs to win fewer games or points than his opponent to win the match. (In golf and bowling, you give or get strokes or pins.)

With almost 250,000 members the APA is the biggest because we are the best.

League players are offered practice tables 1 hour before the league start time and are often available through the night. A match consists of anything between 2 and 15 racks depending on the format and player's skill levels. Standard matches are $10/week. That's $10 for 4-5 hours of pool-playing fun! 

Each week teams are scheduled to play 5 matches. Team dues are $50 so each player pays $10. Some locations also collect a greens fee to go towards table maintenance. There is an annual membership of $30 due every January. We continually partner with multiple national companies that offer special benefits and discounts to APA members!
