Question: How do I withdraw from the event?
Answer: We strongly encourage you withdraw with as much notice as possible if you can not attend the event. Note that you will not be able to select a substitute for your slot. Also, you will not be able to regain your previous slot for the event, but we welcome you to join the waitlist.

Question: Where can I find the briefing information or more details?
Answer: Briefing materials will be distributed to the participant list ahead of the event.
Question: Do I have to use my Army or Service-equivalent issued Rucksack?
Answer: No, any AR 670-1 or Service-equivalent approved rucksack or assault pack is authorized, Service Members do not need to use an Army or Service equivalent issued rucksack. Civilian participants may use any civilian rucksack. See details concerning Uniform.
Question: Are unit T-shirts or combat shirts authorized on the course?
Answer: No, unit T-shirts and combat shirts will not be authorized on the course to ensure all participants meet the uniform requirements as set out by Norwegian guidelines. See details concerning Uniform.
Question: Are headphones allowed?
Answer: Yes, with caveats. Only one earbud or headphone will be authorized on the course. Our goal is that every participant maintains situational awareness at all times. Our staff reserves the right to change this policy at any time including during the execution of the event.
Question: Does the weight include food and water?
Answer: No, you must weigh your rucksack WITHOUT food or water. DO NOT pack your food and water until after you have your weight registered with the check-in staff. See details concerning Uniform.
Question: Will food be provided?
Answer: No, we recommend that you bring food and water for before, during, and after the event. However, food and water must not be included in the weight of your Rucksack.
Question: Where do I park?
Answer: Parking will be available at the checkin site located at the Scales Reserve Center, 9020 Gunston Rd, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Overflow parking will be available nearby as needed. See Parking for details.
Question: Will there be a pinning ceremony?
Answer: No, the 3200 SIG staff will not be conducting a pinning ceremony.
Question: Will pins be given out after successful completion of the course?
Answer: No, pins will not be given out at the event.
Question: When will I get my certificate of completion?
Answer: Following completion of the event the roster of participants who successfully completed the roadmarch in accordance with the requirements will be sent to the Norwegian Embassy for validation. After the Norwegians have validated the roster and generated the certificates, then our Staff will distribute to participants with their certificate of completion.
