The clubhouse has a resort style outdoor pool, indoor pool, spa/hot tub, locker rooms, full fitness center filled with varied equipment, 3 ballrooms, 4 activity/meeting rooms, a game room, computer room, billiards room, library, aerobics & dance studio, pottery work room with kiln, bocce courts, putting green, 4 tennis courts.

Active residents of Carolina Preserve have formed over 100 special interest groups and clubs. There are biking trails, 5 pocket parks scattered throughout the community, as well as ponds for fishing and lakes with walking trails connecting to the American Tobacco Trail and Cary Greenways.
