Flight simulator allows participants to apply and consolidate flying theory learnt in textbooks and ground school, and to further develop knowledge, skills and attitude conducive to flying operations in a safe training environment irrespective of participants experience. It has been used in a number of aviation education programmes in the Corps, including Advanced Aviation Education Programme, Operation Kingbird and Qualified Aviation Instructor Course.
