JUMP IN THE SHARK TANK

The mission of the 302 Sharks exists to provide safe, inclusive, and accessible youth athletics for children in Wilmington, Delaware. Our mission is to eliminate financial barriers to youth sports while creating pathways to confidence, self-esteem, belief, mentorship, and long-term personal growth. Through structured, community-rooted programming, we use athletics as a tool for harm reduction, youth development, and community empowerment.

The 302 Sharks was founded in 2022 as a way to promote great values through safe, fun and educational youth sports.  Since then, our organization has had over 500 kids play soccer, flag football, tackle football & cheerleading.

Our organization is committed to providing kids ages 4 to 14 with the fundamentals of youth sports while encouraging team participation. 

The goals of our sports program are to develop a sense of achievement, promote leadership skills, and create a positive self-image for all players. 

We encourage positive attitudes, healthy lifestyles, work ethic, discipline, and perseverance. 

We encourage participation regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, athletic ability, financial ability, and sexual orientation.
