08/12/23. Tomorrow's talk is taking place as scheduled. The talk postponed before the break is now set for Friday 13th at 09:15 (in the usual place) given the results of the poll.
11/12/22. The seminar tomorrow is postponed due to illness, it will take place after the break.
02/12/22. The talk on Monday 5th has been moved to Wednesday 7th at 09:15 due to scheduling issues.
21/11/22. On the 28/11/22, the first half of the talk will be (another) review on (mostly 2D) orbifolds. The second half will go over coverings of Seifer fibrations and the study and classification of commensurability classes of those three manifolds that are Seifert. Then, there will be an extra talk on Friday 02/12/22 from 10:00 to 11:30 broadly covering the classification of Seifert manifolds up to diffeomorphism (characterizing those manifolds that fiber in non-isomorphic ways). As usual, this talk will be recorded, please let us know if you would like to watch it afterwards.
25/10/22. A short summary of the email sent after the first meeting: the talks will be streamed as long as someone asks for it beforehand. The talks will be recorded and the video will be provided to those who ask us for it as long as it is for private use; the talksf will be on Monday from 15:15 to 16:45. After a 15 minutes break, as something even more optional than the seminar itself, there will be a forum-type meeting to discuss technicalities, extra proofs and such. This latter part will not be recorded; By next Monday, the assignment of the first 8 talks should be concluded. We had a preliminary assignment, some people wanted to read through some things before setting them in stone. Please do so these next days, maybe get in contact with us and, as an absolut deadline, next Monday. For those who could not make it yesterday but want to give a talk, please contact us as soon as possible.
15/10/22. Following the results of the poll, the first meeting of the seminar will take place on Monday, 24th of October at 15:00 in the BMS seminar room at HU. We will start by deciding on the organisation of the seminar and then we will (time permitting) proceed with a talk on Prime Decomposition.
12/10/22. A poll for deciding on the schedule of the seminar and finding out basic information about the participants has been sent out. Please fill it out by Friday.
