Question to think about as you read chapter 6-8!
- Which activity from chapters 6-8 are you the most excited to try with your students next year?
- What benefits come from integrating hands-on and technology activities? (page 63)
- What experiences could our Littles graph this year? (page 63)
- Why is it important for Littles to analyze data? (pages 68-69) How will these opportunities deepen mathematical understanding?
- Sharing mathematical strategies and thinking is powerful to building math concepts. How will you use the ideas shared in chapter 8 with your students?
- What are the benefits of creating activities that give students immediate feedback like the spreadsheet math activities?
- Do you use Google Classroom with your Littles? How can private comments help them grow as learners? (pages 70-71)
- Sequencing is a hard skill for Littles. What type of sequencing activities could we create? (page 78)

- What other activities could you create using the "check their spelling" idea on page 37?
- Do you teach your students keyboard shortcuts?
- At the beginning of school, do you teach students how to use various GAFE tools in small group or in whole group?
