Dr. H. David Jeong is the Mary Raba ’84 and William Raba ’86 Professor and Associate Department Head of Construction Science at Texas A&M University. A founding member of ADIF, he has led over 55 research projects and published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers, advancing AI, data analytics, and process automation in construction.
Mark Luciw is Sr. Director of Strategic Services at ARC Advisory Group & Co-Chair of the Open Asset Digital Twins Working Group, bringing over 35 years of technology and cybersecurity experience. He is a subject matter expert in oil and gas, focusing on industrial cybersecurity, a unified IT/OT/ET strategy, and smart infrastructure. Mark leverages his extensive background to provide technology research and strategic advice for industrial markets, including energy, utilities, manufacturing, and transportation.
Mark has a BSEE from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. He is based in Houston, TX and is married with three children and three grandchildren.
Alan Johnston has over 40 years of IM/IS/IT experience, focused on Interoperability and Digital Transformation for Asset Lifecycle Management and Critical Infrastructure Asset Management. He has extensive experience with public and private sector Infrastructure Risk Management in North America and Australia.
Alan is the Convenor for ISO TC 184/WG 6-Asset Intensive Industry Interoperability, a member of the ANSI TAG to ISO/TC 184/SC 5 & SC 4, MIMOSA President, OpenO&M Co-Chair, and is a voting member of the ISA95 Committee and the Asset Institute.
Beau Slaughter is a Digital Twin Execution Lead for Marathon Petroleum Corporation, driving enterprise-wide strategy for 3D reality capture and digital twin deployment across the refining system. He previously served as Digital Transformation Lead at the Galveston Bay refinery and began his career in I/E design and capital project management. A lifelong technical innovator and hands-on tinkerer, he is focused on delivering practical, scalable digital solutions.
Emile-Otto Coetzer is currently the Senior Digital Advisor, Engineering at Chevron’s Technical Center. His 40-year career has seen him on 4 continents in both Operations and Project environments, in the energy, mining and consulting sectors. He is equally comfortable as a technician, engineer, manager, executive, consultant and advisor. He offers good insight in Engineering Information Management and Digital Transformation, Physical Asset Management and Machinery Diagnostics, and has published in credible journals on these subjects. In recent years, he was involved with the development of ISO 55000, was on the Board of Directors of PPDM and was instrumental in a strategic breakthrough for industry digital transformation via the IOGP. He is passionate about real and sustainable improvement in the safety, environmental and economic performance of industry as a whole, in service of the wider mission to improve the well-being of mankind. Emile holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and a management qualification. After many happy years in the Kalahari, Alberta, California and the UK, he currently resides in Houston with his family, a fly-fishing rod and a motorcycle; their relative priorities are still being debated.
