José A. Ocampo

Professor of Professional Practice in International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, United States. He served in a number of positions in the United Nations and the Government of Colombia, most notably as United Nations Under-Secretary General for Economic and Social Affairs; Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC); Minister of Finance and Public Credit, Chairman of the Central Bank of Colombia; Director of the Minister of Planning; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Executive Director of FEDESARROLLO. Holds a PhD in Economic from Yale University, United States. Ocampo has published extensively on macroeconomic theory and policy, international financial issues, economic and social development, international trade, and Colombian and Latin American economic history.

Germana Giombini

Associate Professor of Economics, University of Urbino, Italy. Holds a PhD in Economics from the Marche Polytechnic University, Italy. She is co-editor of the International Journal of Applied Behavioral Economics. Her extensive list of contributions ranges from innovation to real-financial market interactions and sustainability with an emphasis on how attitudes and behavioural issues influence economic agents in business and organisations. They have appeared in journals such as Regional Studies, Economic Modelling, Economic Letters, and Chaos Solitons and Fractals, among others.

Gabriel Porcile

Economic Affairs Officer, ECLAC United Nations, Chile. Holds a PhD in Economic History from the London School of Economics, United Kingdon. He has been a visiting scholar at prestigious institutions such as the University of Columbia and the New School for Social Research, extensively contributing to the literature of demand-led growth in open economies. His scholarly papers have appeared in journals such as Research Policy, the Cambridge Journal of Economics, Oxford Development Studies, Ecological Economics, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, among others.
