Requirements to abstracts and presentations

Call for papers:

The abstract (in English) is accepted in the electronic format, typed in MS Word. Font – Times New Roman (12pts), with single line spacing. The title of the abstract must be typed by capital letters, bold (12pts), centered, up to 2 rows, one empty break after the title, the authors’ names (italics, bold, 12pt, centered) - please write unabbreviated names; one empty break after the author list; author affiliations (italics, 12pt, centered), indicated using numerical superscripts (¹,²); email address of the presenter. The abstract cannot exceed full 2 А4 pages, including one figure and one table. The size of the margins should be 3 cm at the left and 2.54 cm at the other sides (for more detailed information please check additional file - template). The thesis presented in Azerbaijani should be provided with summary in English.

Oral presentation:

• Oral presentations are allotted twenty minutes. All oral presentations must be delivered using PowerPoint.

Poster presentation:

• Posters have to be A1 size;
• The posters should be prepared in a front size that can be read from one meter distance.

Official language:

• The official language of the Conference is Azerbaijani and English.

• Nanotechnology and materials science
• Modern problems of applied chemistry
• Multidisciplinary scientific and theoretical problems of the Caspian Sea

• First steps in science (a special section for pupils)

Important dates

• Deadline for abstract submission - 01.02.2020

Requirements to participants

The applicant is considered young scientists up to 40 years old and pupils (9-11 forms).

Accomodation

Accommodation and meal will be covered by the host Organization!

Passport and visa

All foreign visitors must possess a passport valid for at least the next 6 months. Some participants may require visas in order to enter Azerbaijan. Please check with your local Azerbaijan Consulate or Embassy for details regarding visa and entry requirements.
