Rules & Information

• League setup

  • The league consists of 6 teams

  • A team can have no more than 10 players on the roster

  • Teams will be placed into two conferences

  • Each team will play the teams in their conference twice, and the teams in the other conference once

• The top two teams of each conference will advance to the playoffs

  • Semi Final - Best of 3

  • Final - Best of 3

• There will be a donation pot for a prize pool, further information below

  • Donation pot will be through paypal.me to Finlay in GBP

ANY CHEATERS WILL BE BANNED FROM THE 2K RUNS DISCORD AND ALL WILL BE UNABLE TO PLAY ANY FUTURE LEAGUES/EVENTS

• Kits must be customized and shorts must be the same colour as the jersey

  • Home kits must be bright

  • Away kits must be dark

  • Think to check with the other team before hand to make sure kits don't clash

• Home courts must not have flashy colours

• Fixture list here

• Fixtures will have set times and dates. These need to be adhered to unless captains agree to reschedule at least 3 hours before the fixture

• All games can't be played any later than 3 days after that original date. They can be played before. If games are not played, the team which was available to play the game on the original set fixture date, will be granted the win

• If both teams cannot play on the set date, and cannot come to an agreement for another time within the 3 day timeframe, both teams could be handed the loss (admins will have to discuss)

• All games must be played before Saturday 29th March 2025 11:59pm (for context, final set match is on 26th March, 3 days sooner)

• All games must be live streamed and linked in the Discord server

• One player in that fixture must post the box score in the discord server

• • There are no restriction on the number of players you can sign/trade for

  • Teams cannot resign players if they kick them from their team

  • No changes to the roster can be made when the playoffs start

• If captains come to an agreement that differs from these rules, that is allowed.

• Upon restarts, note who's possession it was and they must win the tip, and start with the ball.

• If there is a disconnection, the remaining time must be played (to the nearest minute, rounded up), keeping the score.

  • For example: Team 1 27-33 Team 2. 3Q 3:21

  • To be played: Team 2 has a 6 point lead and you play to 2Q 4:00.

• Disconnected players must screenshot the error message shown or it MAY BE be considered an ALT+F4

  • If it transpires that the person used ALT+F4, the team must carry on playing if it was a personal quit. However, if the whole team endorsed the idea, they will lose (this will be hard to tell of course)

• 4th quarter <1:00 remaining

  • No restart, carry on playing.

• Please feel free to donate at any point, it will be very welcome and make the event more interesting

• Any value donation welcome! Even £1 will do

  • 70% of winnings will go to the winners

  • 15% of winnings will go to second place

  • 15% of winnings go to the winning all-star team

• If a person who donates wins the league, they get all of their donation back and the rest of the prize pool is split equally to all winners including that person.

• The most capped players in each position for each team will put forward for All-Star voting

• The voting will be position based

• The game will be Conference 1 vs Conference 2

• The winners of the All-Star game will receive 15% of the prize pool

• The All-Star game will take place on Sunday 30th March 2025 @ 9pm UK

• How many builds can I play on?

  • People can play on as many builds as they want, whenever they want, throughout the whole event (this is to allow fluidity, so that games can be played)
