The subscriptions cover the costs of activities at the weekly meetings, including materials used, food and drink as well as paying for the upkeep of the building and other associated expenses. It also includes a membership fee to the Scout Association which provides a basic level of insurance for scouting activities.
We currently charge £36 per term, payable by cheque at the start of each term to your section leader.
Extra-curricular activities, trips and camps are an important part of Scouting and cannot be covered by subscriptions, so an additional charge is often required.
