My Work

long is me!
Graduated from the University of the Philippines
I officially entered the industry in 2020, becoming a painter specializing in Unity 2D art asset development. Five years ago, I first encountered painting, and at that moment, it felt like a ray of light shone into my life—I fell madly in love with expressing the world through lines and colors.
From that moment on, I knew this was the path I wanted to take. After returning to the Philippines, I didn't have superior conditions or readily available resources, but I was exceptionally diligent. I locked myself in my room, practicing, copying, and experimenting day after day, from basic sketching to digital painting, from simple icons to complete game assets, mastering each step through self-study. Of all my creative directions, I'm particularly obsessed with one technique—creating "fake 3D" art.
I like to use 2D methods to simulate the sense of space, volume, and light and shadow in a three-dimensional world, making flat characters and scenes appear to truly exist in a three-dimensional world. This visual effect, somewhere between reality and fantasy, gives my work a unique distinctiveness. Currently
I work for a small game development company in the Philippines, responsible for the design and production of Unity 2D assets. Although the company is small, it gave me complete creative space—from character sprites and environment components to UI icons and pseudo-3D effect frames, I participated in the entire process and continuously honed my skills. I firmly believe that a good 2D artist is not just someone who draws beautifully,
but someone who can create convincing visual experiences with limited resources. In the future, I will continue to delve into the "pseudo-3D" style, giving more games a unique and vivid visual life.
