Innovation Challenge

The 2D MLG commanding Generals Innovation challenge has been established to help reward the Marines and Sailors who bring innovation to their units as well as foster the mindset required to keep the Marine Corps at the forefront of the technological battlefield. There is one challenge every quarter and there are no limitations or restrictions, just bring your brilliant idea and explain how it will help the Marine Corps.

On the left you will find the past two winners. The top photo is of an Environmental Control Unit (ECU) intake cover used to prevent anything being sucked inside and damaging the internal components created by SSgt Pedelty. On the bottom is a clip for a radio headset used to cover two screws on either side of the push button that, if touched while keying, causes a shock to the user and was designed by LCpl Sattler. Both projects were thought up by the individual and the idea was brought to our space for help designing and creating a physical project.
