Jesus is Our Savior
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
God is the Perfect Judge...We have a Perfect Judge who wants us to to morally perfect in His law...God is the absolute in all morality...He sent His Son to show us how to live a perfectly moral life...We should fear the LORD, because He will judge us perfectly...There will be no injustice on His part, or partiality or any briberies in heaven...
A better question might be is do we really want justice or perfect justice?...Jesus teaches us not one of us is good...Only God is good...If we get justice can we make it to heaven...The answer is no...When we think of a judge, we think of law and one breaking a law...A judge must bring justice to the one breaking the law...One breaking the law must pay the debt...When we think of the Perfect Absolute Moral Judge, we know we have sinned and broken His law...But God sent His Son to pay for our breaking His moral laws...Jesus paid for our sin debt, with His death on the cross...Jesus is our Savior from our sin debts on earth...We need a Savior and God sent us One...
God had Moses right out a set of rules that would help guide his people over the years in the desert and later in the Promised Land, called the Law...In fact, it was called the Law of Moses...Breaking one of these laws was a sin...As we talk about our Perfect Judge and breaking His law, this is what it is -this is the law (and breaking the law), this is not grace, His great grace...So let us pray for His grace, and not for justice for what we do and have done...He is perfect, and understands all things perfectly...That is why He sent His Son... Without Jesus, we are doomed...He paid our sin debt...It is by God's grace of sending His Son to us and us believing in Him, is how we will get to heaven...When we believe in the One who was to come, the Root of David, the Morning Star, and taste the Water of Life, we can make it back to the perfect garden of Eden...Jesus holds the key, like a Golden Key, for us to get to heaven...We have the key...We just have to use it, to unlock heaven...This key is free...This gift is free (Revelation 22:7)...The believers, who come to Him and drink this eternal Water of Life and use this Golden Key, will make it to heaven...
