Found In Fabens, Texas in the middle of no where. He was tiny, malnourished, attacked by another dog, hit with an object and had a major eye infection. He was only nine weeks old and already experience so much pain. He was found and taken to the vet right away. We did bloodwork, gave him treatment but we could slowly see him fading. We didn't believe he would make it. For weeks, we kept up with his treatment, forced him to eat and prayed hard so he could make it through. After two weeks of praying and IV's, Pecan made it through. We got him healthy with a high protein diet and found a family that would love and care for him for the rest of his life!
Copee was found by a family, stuck in a gate, in the middle of no where. on top of that, it was raining, badly. No one could figure out how he got in there but we believe someone threw him over. He was taken to the vet right away! As we were weighing him, we noticed he would cry loudly. We assumed he was terrified of people and still scared from whatever happened to him. We could also tell right away, that he was severely abused just by his body language. We decided to do x-rays and found that Copee had a broken chest. Vet mentioned that he was probably kicked or it happened when they threw him over the fence. Whatever happened to Copee would never happen again, we got him healthy, vaccinated, neutered and gave him lots of love and toys. Copee got adopted three weeks later to a beautiful home where he runs and plays with all the toys he wants now!
Benjamin was found in a vacant backyard, tied up with a heavy chain. The previous owners moved out and left him there. We followed protocol with the police department and was finally able to get him out. We took him to the vet right away! He was anemic, malnourished, full of ticks, had parasites and had ehrlichia. He was such a sweet boy and was happy that we found him before it was too late! We got him into a foster home and did all everything to get him healthy again. He is still looking for the right home but is a happy healthy boy again!
