2. Sign in to Mcafee my account

3. If you are a new user, you need to create a new account

4. Enter your 25 digit mcafee activation code

5. See the backside of retail card to see the activation code

6. If you have purchased mcafee from www.mcafee.com/activate then you will get product key on registered email

7. Select your mcafee product and click on download button

8. Wait until the mcafee file gets downloaded

9. Once the file get downloaded install mcafee

10. Double click on downloaded file to run the setup

11. Follow on screen instructions to complete mcafee installation

12. Now open the installed software and click on "Activate" button

13. Enter your mcafee activate product key and sign in to mcafee account

14. You mcafee product key will get verified

15. Your mcafee is activated and ready to scan files
