As we head into the spring months, we know this time of year can bring a sense of âspring feverâ with warmer weather and busy schedules. While this is an exciting time, it is also one of the most important stretches of our school year. There is still so much learning ahead, and we believe deeply in every studentâs ability to grow, achieve, and succeed. Consistent attendance plays a key role in building that success. When students are here each day, they gain confidence, strengthen their skills, and stay connected to their learning and their classroom community. Thank you for continuing to partner with us in making attendance a priority so that together, we can help every one of our owls finish the year strong!
We know⌠another survey. đ
But this one is differentâitâs all about usâour school, our students, and our JTES community. The Leader in Me MRA Survey focuses on:
Leadership - Culture - Academics
Your feedback goes directly back to our school team. We use it to celebrate whatâs working and make real adjustments to keep moving forwardâtogether. So if youâve ever thought, âI wish the school wouldâŚâ or "I love how our school..." âthis is your moment!
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your voice. We truly value it! #owlsallin
OWL (Opportunity-Wonder-Learning) Time was originally imagined as a way to increase attendance on Wednesdays and allow our students to the opportunity to work with others outside of their typical peer/friend "group". It has done that and more!!!
âWednesday is now our highest day attended.
âStudent learn and experience a skill they may not have ever had access to before. #backgroundknowledge
âStaff (certificted AND classified) are working and building relationships with students not in their homeroom! Students are working and building relationships with students outside their typical peer group.
âParents are sharing how the experience is something students are bringing home with excitement and new interest!
âStudents are requesting their Owl Time become an after school club.
âStudents can participate in: drumming, crocheting, gardening, sign language, Kindness Club, origami, engineering, and so much more!
