The baton must be kept in motion for the full 24 hours.
Team members not on the track can campout on the infield

David LeWarne was a teacher and coach at Snohomish High School for 16 years. David valued hard work, perseverance, and strived to be something bigger than himself. His lasting legacy is the profound impact on those he taught, coached, and associated with. David passed away unexpectedly in December 2024.

Tuck Gionet was a teacher and coach at Snohomish High School for 27 years. Tuck had a reputation of greatly challenging his students and athletes. He pushed and expected much out of those he taught and coached. He left a lasting impression on all he knew. Tuck lost his battle with cancer in August 2015.

"If Not Me, Then Who" scholarship
"If Not Me, Then Who" scholarship
The "If Not Me, Then Who" Scholarship is given in honor of 1st Lt. Travis Manion of the U.S. Marine Corps. Manion gave the ultimate sacrifice on April 29, 2007, during his second deployment to Iraq.
The "If Not Me, Then Who" Scholarship is given in honor of 1st Lt. Travis Manion of the U.S. Marine Corps. Manion gave the ultimate sacrifice on April 29, 2007, during his second deployment to Iraq.
While on patrol searching for a suspected insurgent house in Fallujah, Travis, his fellow Marines, and Iraqi Army counterparts were ambushed. Travis led a counterattack against enemy forces, drawing fire away from his wounded comrades and allowing every member of his patrol to survive. For his actions, he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Valor.
