Mega Skill: Teamwork
Here are ways we are working on teamwork at school that you can help with at home:
Work Together: Do simple chores as a team, like cooking or cleaning, and talk about how everyone helps in their own way. Say things like, "Great job helping!" or "We make a great team!"
Talk About Taking Turns: Play board games or do activities that involve turn-taking, and remind your child how important it is to wait, share, and cheer for others.
Celebrate Kindness: Notice when your child helps or cooperates with others and say, "That was so kind of you to help!" or "Thanks for being such a thoughtful teammate!"
Solve Problems Together: When conflicts happen, guide your child through finding a solution by saying, "What can we do to fix this together?"
These steps can help your mega student become a caring, respectful, and helpful teammate at school and beyond!
