Village Green is a great place to live for students, retirees, and families alike. The complex is located near downtown Omaha - minutes from the Henry Doorly Omaha Zoo, Creighton University, and the I-80 Freeway entrance. The entire complex is smoke free and is a safe and quiet place to raise a family. The complex has multiple playgrounds/green spaces and is within walking distance of Lauritzen Gardens (a yearly membership is included as a resident of Village Green). We can't recommend Village Green enough!
We love the location of our unit. Close to the entrance, we enjoy quick entry and parking. We also love having to only go over one speed bump . Our unit is north facing and oversees a quiet playground. Our assigned parking spot is next to 3 visitor parking spots which allows for close parking for your 2nd car and friends.
Our unit is approximately 990 square feet, plus an unfinished basement. A unit of this size has one of the lowest Co-Op fees of $493.
The monthly Co-Op dues cover:
Property taxes (which are pricy in Omaha)
Full-time maintenance staff (grounds upkeep, snow removal, and indoor maintenance of things original to the unit, like plumbing, furnace and water heater.)
Full-time office management
Water, sewer, and trash/recycling
Community playgrounds
Clubhouse
In addition, new windows and siding will be installed Fall of 2023.
